“Possessing a golden tone and pearly coloratura” (Bachtrack), Moldovan soprano Olga Busuioc made her debut at Oper Stuttgart in December 2018, singing Mimi in La bohème. She remains in Stuttgart throughout the season to sing her first performances of Margherita/Elena in Mefistofele, and Antonia/Giulietta in Les contes d’Hoffmann. Her future repertoire at Oper Stuttgart includes Elisabeth de Valois in a new production Don Carlos, and Countessa Almaviva in a new production of Le nozze di Figaro.
