It all started with a small Bogotá apartment and a big dream.
Juan Martínez had just moved into his first home, an empty space with plain walls and no personality. He wanted it to feel warm, inviting, his. But finding the right design ideas? Overwhelming.
Through trial and error, he learned that great design wasn’t about expensive pieces, it was about making a space feel right. He wanted to help others do the same, but in a way that felt simple, fun, and personal.
That’s when columbia-artists.com was born.

With over 10 years of experience, Juan has worked with homeowners to bring personality and warmth into their spaces, blending modern aesthetics with cultural craftsmanship. His mission is simple: to help people create homes that feel uniquely theirs.
When he’s not designing, Juan enjoys visiting local markets, exploring Colombia’s hidden architectural gems, and mentoring young designers.
